2 Corinthians 10:4–5
4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

Psalm 34:18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Isaiah 61:1–3

2 Corinthians 1:3–4
3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
What this will do: Connects God's work of comforting us to your calling to comfort others. This does not minimize your pain; instead, it gives you purpose in knowing that as you are healed, you will be used by God to bring healing to others.
Declaration: GOD’S WORD SAYS God is comforting me, and He will use my story to strengthen others.
Romans 8:1-2
1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, 2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.
What this will do: Breaks the lie that says your past disqualifies you.
Declaration: GOD’S WORD SAYS there is no condemnation for me in Christ Jesus. Shame will not rule me and shame will not rule me out of God's purposes..
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
What this will do: Gives a clear path out of hidden guilt: confession and cleansing.
Declaration: GOD’S WORD SAYS when I confess, God forgives and cleanses me. I will live in the light.
Psalm 103:10-12
10 he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. 11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; 12 as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
What this will do: Reframes your past: forgiven and removed, not constantly replayed.
Declaration: GOD’S WORD SAYS God has removed my sins from me. My past is not my identity. Jesus rewrites my life story.
Hebrews 4:16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
What this will do: Turns you from avoidance to bold, honest approach to God.
Declaration: GOD’S WORD SAYS I can come confidently to God for mercy and grace right now.

18 Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. 19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.
What this will do: Restores the sacredness of your body and puts strength behind boundaries.
Declaration: GOD’S WORD SAYS my body belongs to the Lord. I will honor God with my body and my choices. I flee sexual immorality in the power of the Holy Spirit.

3 It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; 4 that each of you should learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable,
What this will do: Gives clarity: holiness is God’s will, not a vague goal.
Declaration: GOD’S WORD SAYS God’s will is my sanctification. I will live under the Spirit’s control, not lust’s control.
Job 31:1 I made a covenant with my eye not to look lustfully at a young woman.
What this will do: Supports decisive, practical action (filters, accountability, removing access).
Declaration: GOD’S WORD SAYS I will make no agreement with lust. I will choose clean inputs and clean habits.
Titus 2:11–12
11 For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. 12 It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,
What this will do: Replaces willpower with grace-power to say “no.”
Declaration: GOD’S WORD SAYS God’s grace trains me to reject ungodliness. I can live self-controlled today.
1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
What this will do: Restores hope: temptation is not unbeatable, and God provides a way out.
Declaration: GOD’S WORD SAYS God always provides a way out. I am not trapped. I will take the escape route.
Romans 6:12–14
12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. 13 Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness. 14 For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.
What this will do: Rebuilds identity: sin is not your master.
Declaration: GOD’S WORD SAYS sin will not reign over me. I belong to God and I can walk free.
Galatians 5:16 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.
What this will do: Shifts the fight from “white-knuckling” to “walk by the Spirit.”
Declaration: GOD’S WORD SAYS as I walk by the Spirit, my flesh loses control. I will not be led by cravings.
2 Timothy 1:7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
What this will do: Strengthens self-control with Spirit-empowered courage.

What this will do: Slows the cycle before it explodes.

26 “In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, 27 and do not give the devil a foothold.
What this will do: Helps you recognize anger as a doorway and close it quickly.
Declaration: GOD’S WORD SAYS I will deal with anger in the light and not give the devil a foothold.
Ephesians 4:29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
What this will do: Rebuilds your home with words that give life.
Declaration: GOD’S WORD SAYS my words will build up, not tear down. My mouth will serve God’s purposes.
Proverbs 15:1 A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.
What this will do: Gives a practical “in the moment” tool to de-escalate.
Declaration: GOD’S WORD SAYS I will answer gently and turn away wrath.
James 5:16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
What this will do: Moves you from secrecy to healing through confession and prayer.
Declaration: GOD’S WORD SAYS healing comes as I bring things into the light and receive prayer.

Hebrews 10:24–25

What this will do: Breaks the drift and reconnects you to strengthening community.
Declaration: GOD’S WORD SAYS I will not isolate. I will gather, be encouraged, and encourage others.
Ecclesiastes 4:9–10
9 Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: 10 If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.
What this will do: Reinforces that isolation is not strength.
Declaration: GOD’S WORD SAYS I was not made to stand alone. God provides brothers to help me up.
John 3:20–21
20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.
What this will do: Exposes the lie that hiding keeps you safe.
Declaration: GOD’S WORD SAYS I will walk in the light. Truth will make me free.
Philippians 4:6–7
6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
What this will do: Converts anxiety into prayer and brings guarding peace.
Declaration: GOD’S WORD SAYS God’s peace will guard my heart and mind as I pray and trust Him.
1 Peter 5:6-7
6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. 7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
What this will do: Gives you permission to release what you were never meant to carry.
Declaration: GOD’S WORD SAYS I can cast my cares on the Lord because He cares for me.
Isaiah 26:3 You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.
What this will do: Stabilizes your mind by re-centering trust.
Declaration: GOD’S WORD SAYS God keeps me in perfect peace as I keep my mind fixed on Him.
Matthew 11:28–30
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
What this will do: Calls you out of “driven” living into Jesus’ rest.
Declaration: GOD’S WORD SAYS Jesus gives me rest. I will trade striving for His yoke and His pace.
1 Peter 2:9-10
9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 10 Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
What this will do: Replaces “damaged goods” with God’s identity statement.
Declaration: GOD’S WORD SAYS I am chosen, set apart, and God’s possession. I belong to Him, I am part of the family of God, I have received mercy!
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
What this will do: Breaks agreement with “this is just who I am.”
Declaration: GOD’S WORD SAYS I am a new creation in Christ. The old has gone, the new is here.
Romans 8:15–16
15 The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” 16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.
What this will do: Silences “I’m on my own” with adoption.
Declaration: GOD’S WORD SAYS I am God’s son. I am not abandoned. I am led by the Spirit.
Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
What this will do: Re-centers your life around Christ within you.
Declaration: GOD’S WORD SAYS Christ lives in me. I will not be ruled by my past or my impulses.
John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
What this will do: Names the battle and reclaims the promise: life to the full.
Declaration: GOD’S WORD SAYS Jesus gives me life in abundance. What was stolen will be restored in Christ.
Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
What this will do: Reframes you as God’s workmanship with real assignments ahead.
Declaration: GOD’S WORD SAYS I am God’s handiwork, created for good works prepared for me.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
What this will do: Restores hope when you feel like your future is damaged.
Declaration: GOD’S WORD SAYS God has plans for me: hope and a future, not harm.
Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
What this will do: Anchors confidence that God redeems even the worst chapters of our lives.
